Jessica Alba May Join Little Fockers
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Universal, Sequels, Comedy, Casting, Celebrity Gossip, Upcoming Releases,
Jessica Alba may be starring in the sequel to Meet the Fockers.
The 28-year-old actress is in negotiations to appear in Little Fockers, the third film in the popular Meet the Parents franchise. Producers want the Love Guru star to play a sexy pharmaceutical rep whose looks send the movie’s male characters crazy.
If she lands the role, Jessica will star alongside Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Owen Wilson and Barbra Streisand.
The new film will see Stiller’s hapless character Gaylord Focker and his wife welcoming a child, or possibly twins, into the world. The storyline is close to Jessica’s heart - she gave birth to Honor Marie, her first daughter with husband Cash Warren, 15 months ago.

Scorcese and De Niro Reunite for Hoffa Project
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Paramount, Adaptation, Drama, Casting, Celeb News, Scripts, Upcoming Releases,
Paramount Pictures has just announced that Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese will be reteaming for another mob-related project. I Hear You Paint Houses, which is based on Charles Brandt book, will be their first collaboration since 1995’s Casino. The frequent partners have also worked together on such classics as Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Casino and Cape Fear.
In Houses, De Niro will play Frank “the Irishman” Sheeran, a man who reportedly helped kill Teamster boss Jimmy Hoffa. Sheeran, who passed away in 2003, admitted being involved in this murder (and a string of other contract hits) to Brandt prior to his death.
Writer Steven Zaillian - the man behind Schindler’s List, Gangs of New York and American Gangster - has been tasked with adapting the screenplay.

Box Office Breakdown: Burn After Reading Smokes Past Competition

Around this same time last year, Tyler Perry was beating George Clooney in a battle at the box office. Now the Sexiest Man Alive is having his day.
This past weekend, cineplexes were kept busy with a handful of new releases. Although each film had a chance of reaching #1, Burn After Reading - starring Clooney, Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand - emerged as the eventual winner. But the news wasn’t so bad for the other three contenders. Theatergoers clearly starving for fresh material placed all four wide release entries into the chart’s four top slots.

Al Pacino and Robert De Niro’s First Joint TV Interview
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Celeb News,
Admittedly, this is a very painful clip to watch. (It’s riddled with awkward pauses.) Having said that - it’s still a noteworthy event for film lovers. For the first time ever, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro have given a joint TV interview. Unfortunately for Brian Williams, he was the one given the responsibility of conducting it.
The two intimidating actors sat down with the NBC news anchor to promote their new film Righteous Kill. (The movie opens today.) Although this is the third project they’ve both been in together (The Godfather: Part II and Heat being the others), this is the first time they’ve shared a good portion of the scenes.
After watching the interview, ask yourself: “Could James Lipton - or anyone - have handled this better?”
